About Us
"City of Good" is the largest shelter in Ukraine, providing shelter, social services, and medical assistance to women and children in difficult life circumstances.
Since its founding in 2016, the center has already helped over 5,000 women and saved over 8,000 children from social orphanhood.
STAGES IN THE CREATION OF THE CITY OF GOODNESS:
In 2016, the City of Goodness
began its activities
in a rented building.
In 2017 —the first plot
was purchased for the construction of the shelter.
In 2018 - the construction of the first building commenced.
By 2020, the City of Goodness had been officially inaugurated,
paving the way for further
development.

1. Women with children facing difficult life circumstances, where there is a risk of family separation.
2. Women in situations of domestic violence, where children are also affected.
3. Women who are internally displaced and have lost their homes due to war, with children in their care.
4. Women living below the poverty line and in need of social reintegration.
5. Students from orphanages who have been temporarily evacuated.

The City of goodness is not funded by the state; it relies on donations from generous individuals and support from its partners.
Currently, it incurs a monthly expenditure of

furnishing all rooms with complete equipment.
Following the arrival of individuals formerly residing in evacuated orphanages, the City of goodness intends to establish a children's hospice, which will significantly increase the cost..
As such, it is vital to seek additional support.

We have merged a children's shelter with a dog shelter:
children and puppies take care of each other mutually—children look after the dogs, and trained dogs with a certified canine therapist work with children at our Canine Therapy Center as part of psychological rehabilitation.

for seriously ill children;

September 2024 - Construction and inauguration of a primary school.

SUPPLY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO THE “CITY OF GOODNESS” IN CHERNIVTSI
We have donated €5,571 to this residence in Chernivtsi where 600 children and women live, many of them displaced by the war and sick. With this money they have been able to buy the following equipment to treat children with respiratory failure or walking difficulties:
- A rotating medical console with a ceiling support for oxygen intakes, access to compressed air and power outlets, for the chronic respiratory diseases department, where there are 13 patients with a palliative profile.
- Fifteen oxygen humidifiers with a flow meter, for smooth regulation of the oxygen flow.
- A surgical aspirator for removing fluids from the respiratory tract.
- A treadmill for rehabilitation of inpatient and outpatient children. They are children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, microcephaly, developmental delay and genetic diseases.
