Vitoria City Council donates two fire engines to Ukraine — MAN and MERCEDES-BENZ.
The equipment was completely renovated and equipped with new fire hoses.
On August 14, 2025, both cars left Vitoria on a trailer, and on August 18, they arrived in the city of Mizhhirya, Ukraine, where they were unloaded by local volunteers.
From there, the equipment was picked up by drivers from the two communities to which the vehicles were sent: Kurylivka and Novomyrhorod.

The repair, equipment, transport, and delivery of the trucks were carried out in collaboration with the NGO Acción Norte, the Euskadi-Ukraine Association, and the Ukrainian NGO People's Advocate. A ceremony was held in Kyiv's Independence Square to hand over the Mercedes truck to the Novomirgorod City Council.
